About
  • The Council of Young Scientists of the Federal Research Center of Nutrition and Biotechnology, with the support of the Russian Science Foundation, is holding the 8th International School of young scientists "Fundamentals of Healthy Nutrition and Ways to Prevent Nutritional-Dependent Diseases. Interdisciplinary Challenges in Nutrition Science". The two-day full-time and online school of Young Scientists will be dedicated to nutrition science as an interdisciplinary field of knowledge.
  • Leading experts at the VIIISchool of Young Scientists will highlight for participants current ideas about the role of related sciences in shaping responses to current challenges in nutrition sciences, advances in digital nutrition, assessment of nutrition patterns of the Russian's population, formation of consumer preferences and prospects for using machine learning methods for the prevention of nutritional-dependent diseases.
  • The purpose of the event is to highlight the theoretical and practical aspects of nutritionology, dietetics, hygiene and biochemistry of nutrition, as well as modern food technologies.
  • The School's audience includes young scientists specializing in medical, biological sciences, chemical and technical sciences, graduate students, ordinators, interns, doctors and researchers from scientific organizations and higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Rospotrebnadzor, FMBA of Russia, etc.
  • Forms of participation, registration, restrictions and key dates:
Face-to-face* — registration is open until 10/23/2025.
Online — registration is open until 10/30/2025.
Electronic registration is mandatory for all participants.
All full-time participants will be given a certificate of participation.

* The number of full-time School participants is limited. Registration for full-time participants may be closed earlier than the specified dates upon reaching the maximum possible limit of participants in the event. In case of an unfavorable epidemiological situation, the event can be completely transferred to a remote format.
The age of the participants should not exceed 39 years (inclusive).
  • Venue and time: The school will be held in the large conference hall of the Federal Research Centre of Nutrition and Biotechnology at the address: 2/14 B. 3 Ustinsky Proezd, Moscow. Registration of full-time participants on the spot will be held on October 30 and 31.
